Apple Trees and Pumpkin Patches

Fair Visit

In my hometown, the fair is a big deal.
Like get the day of school every year big deal.

Over the weekend, we took Peyton, and although we didn't do any rides,
she loved all the animals and toys all around.

First Face Painting (flowers on a vine)

Wasn't sure what to think of this at first, but after she didn't want to leave

Indoor Play

We found a hidden treasure in our city.
An Indoor Children's Place.

This. place. is. huge!

Peyton is growing up so much and was totally independent the whole time,
and for those times that she needed a bit of help up the larger parts, the play area is
100% parent friendly, so I was able to climb up with her!

How Fun!

Toddler Fall Craft

The other day, we got out our paints and made a fall tree.
We first traced Peyton's hand in brown paper and then glued it to white paper and finger panted around it.
I love how it turned out and other than the trunk and the cutting, Peyton did the whole craft herself!

Cloud Dough

With Fall in our midst and Winter on it's way, I've spent quite a bit of time on Pinterest coming up with ideas to keep busy.

Today we tried to make our own homemade Cloud Dough.

(I split in in half due to the fact that I didn't have a ton of baby oil on hand)

Note:  This is not edible so either stay with child while playing or use a different recipe if you have little hands that like to put everything in their mouths.

It was a hit!
Minus the mess...
But messes are what make a house a home (it needs to be lived in a little !;) )

Here are our results:

Of course we had to clean our mess when we finished.
