Today I Choose

Today, I came along a motto I once had memorized and would say to myself very often.  I first learned it while on a mission trip with Global Expeditions.  It goes something like this:

Today, I will live honorably through my thoughts, actions, and speech. I choose to be full of faith; I will not only be a hearer but a doer of the Word of God. I will serve before I demand, I will love and not hate, and I will give before I take. Today, I choose to make a difference in this world and to be a part of something bigger than myself. I choose to dedicate my life to prayer and ask God for His miraculous power and the courage to do the impossible. I will make Godly relationships a priority in my life as I esteem others higher than myself. Today, I will live my life in such a way that I Will Change the World.

My first GE mission trip in 2007- what a life changing experience
as I realized how God is able to work through somebody so insignificant
like myself.

These last few months, I have found myself more worried about the smaller stuff that I have forgotten my true reason for being here.  I have gotten in such a routine, and unfortunately I have not put time in that routine to let God take a hold of my life and lead me in his ways.

I plan to change that.

God has big plans for me each and every day he blesses me with while on this earth.  As he does for each and every one of his children on earth.

Things are going to change these next few months, and I'm excited for these changes and to see how God will move in my life!
