Trusting God with the little things in life is never too difficult.
But there are all things that we tend to keep "hidden" from God.
Things that we believe we can take care of better than he can.
I definitely had a list of these things:
Finances
School
Career
It's funny how God works though.
My plans have changed over the past year,
I have learned that school isn't everything and although finances and career choice is important,
In the end God will take care of you.
He will provide the essentials.
We just need to trust him enough to let him provide these things.
Wes and I have been tight on finances,
but this past weekend, there has been some things that just have been such amazing blessings.
The car I was looking for to get to and from school, God provided it completely.
Wes is taking on side jobs to help with the bills, God provided him with the equipment to do these jobs.
This being said,
God is not a genie.
We should not be expecting to win the lottery after we pray each time.
But he does provide what is needed,
He will take care of us.
Why is it that we say we trust God but so often we forget that he does love us and he will take care of us?
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding
In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path
